Meet Kamlesh!

WP 000305 Employee Spotlight: Kamlesh Kumar

How did you find MycroBurst?
Well, MycroBurst.com is kind of like my baby. We had to help it grow so it could compete with all of the other crowdsourcing companies. I remember the days when we used to do custom logo designing in-house, and I remember when my CEO called me and asked me if we could create a crowdsourcing model to achieve our business requirements. Looking at different aspects, I replied, “Yes, we can do it and we should do it.” A crowdsourcing model was the best fit for us. It gives the clients more options to choose from and it also benefits the design community.

In a nutshell, tell us about your position here at MycroBurst:
I’m working as the CTO at MycroBurst.com. From requirements analysis to deployment, I am in charge of making sure all things are taken care of effectively and efficiently. You know, being a technical person, it’s my responsibility to gather information from non-technical individuals and convert it into valuable output.

What is your key to success at MB?
Confidence, decision-making power, and hard work. Being an important key player on the team means that you have to make major decisions sometimes. In order to make those decisions and face the consequences, you need to have enough confidence. It’s because of your confidence that your team supports your decisions. And how do you get this confidence? It comes through mistakes, and we call it experience. So, never avoid trying new tricks and techniques. Either you’ll be successful or you’ll get experience, and in both situations, you gain something valuable.

What’s your favorite part of working at MycroBurst?
Its performance and security. It’s easy to build an application, but you have to take extra steps to make it more secure and robust. Performance is the key. The CEO used to tell me that we have only three seconds to attract the client and if we can’t do it in three seconds, he’ll never visit our site again. So, to attract customers and keep them interested in your site, you should make your application more robust and user-friendly. This is what drives my job and makes me excited to come to work every day.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to our project holders, VIP or otherwise?
For the Project Holder, I would suggest making projects guaranteed so that the efforts of designers will not be in vain. They work to meet the requirements, and it’s important for them to know they have a good chance of winning.

Describe yourself in one word…
Perfectionist. I’m obsessed with making sure that everything I do is to the best of my ability and matching my vision. Also, I enjoy spending time giving back to my community. It makes me feel good to know that I am helping others.

Your favorite place to visit is…
Anyplace outdoors. I love nature, so I love visiting beautiful natural places.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
I usually unwind by watching comedy movies and doing some Yoga.

What fun fact about MB can you share with us?
MycroBurst is just an exciting company to work for because it is full of great energy and wonderful people. Does that count as a fun fact?
