A master at power point, Garrison tried to design his own logo, but soon discovered that designing a logo requires a level of creativity that he just doesn’t possess. The logo design contest for Garrison Productivity Solutions was a stunning success. Garrison’s contest garnered 238 logo entries in just seven days. Garrison is thrilled with the results, and he chose a beautiful logo that reflects the goals and professional approach of his business. “A logo is such an important part of your business, you won’t want to change it ever,” remarked Garrison.

Garrison credits his global experience and management skills with helping him drive the designers to produce more designs. “I am used to working with teams around the world who collaborate 24/7. For this project, I gave notes before I went to bed, and when I woke up in the morning, there were new submissions.”  Garrison also asked his friends and family for creative feedback throughout the design process.  He added, “I also had people with different ideas helping me. My son sent the link to his friends who sent me comments on which designs they liked the best. I also had friends all over town giving me feedback. I recommend other people do the same thing.”

When asked about what advice he would give to project holders, Garrison had a very important strategy for future project holders. Garrison explained, “If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to over-communicate. I gave a lot of information in my creative brief, and I gave a ton of feedback during the process. Also, always be polite! Treating people with mutual respect is a requirement.”

Garrison had nothing but compliments for the team and the design process. “Everyone I spoke with has been phenomenal. The designers, the support staff, everyone has been polite and helpful.  The designers said ‘Thank you’ after I gave them feedback”. He is also very excited to use his new logo to promote his business. He is going to start with business cards, but his kids have been asking him to make t-shirts and hats with the logo on it. Garrison’s answer to his kids is that it will have to wait until the new business to takes off and money comes in. “MycroBurst is such a good value for the price. It is an especially good deal for a cash-strained new business.”
